Welcome to Mars

This piece was made for a competition called, Welcome to Mars. The competition was sponsored by CGPad.org and Steambot Studios was going to judge the pieces. I spent about a day total for the piece, but I took lots of breaks and ended up with a sort of speed painting with a little more effort behind it.

In this piece there is a ship arriving to the waste management and energy stop. Scientists are gathering samples to make sure the waste resources are being properly recycled in order to make energy for the entire city.

Purple Haze Revision

Ok here is arevision from the earlier post since Hendrix is left-handed. I also changed the size of the guitar neck and hand (it was bigger before). The smoke effect was also toned down.

I wanted to make a Hendrix painting for a while now and I think this will do. Tried to make it a speed painting, but I was quite delayed with it and I got distracted in the process. Might have taken me a little over 7hrs.
